Sea Life Constance
In the 140-m2 enclosure, the Grand Aquarium displays, next to the piranhas, also many other animals, such as pirapatinga, Leopold ray, mata mata and the brightly coloured poison dart frogs. In addition to this new tropical enclosure, SEA LIFE shows over 3500 fresh and saltwater fish in around 35 pools that realistically represent the animals’ natural habitats.
As a visitor, you can immerse yourself in the fascinating underwater world, looking many fish straight in the eyes. We will take you on a journey that starts from Lake Constance via the port of Rotterdam, to the North Sea. In the glass tunnel, marvel at the colourful world of the Red Sea, and submerge together with our turtles and sharks. At the end of the tour, glistening ice and freezing cold await you: in Antarctica our ten bustling gentoo penguins are looking forward to greeting you!
